Cable Box & Satellite Setup
We connect your cable box or satellite receiver to the optimal HDMI input, configure audio output to route through your soundbar or surround system via HDMI ARC or eARC, and program your remote to control both the TV and the cable box. We verify channel reception, configure favorite channel lists, enable DVR features, and set up parental controls if requested. If you are switching from cable to streaming, we help you disconnect the old equipment and transition to your new setup.
Gaming Console Configuration
PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and other gaming consoles have specific display settings that affect performance. We connect your console to the TV input that supports the highest refresh rate and resolution, then configure the display settings for optimal gaming performance — enabling Game Mode for low input lag, setting the correct resolution (1080p, 4K, 4K 120Hz), enabling Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and configuring HDR. The result is a noticeably smoother, more responsive gaming experience.
Soundbar & Audio System Integration
We connect your soundbar or audio receiver via HDMI ARC or eARC for the best audio quality and simplest remote control setup. We configure the TV to output audio to the external speaker system, disable the internal TV speakers, set up audio pass-through for Dolby Atmos or DTS:X when supported, and pair any wireless subwoofers or surround speakers. We test the audio across different content types — streaming, gaming, and live TV — to verify everything sounds right.
Universal Remote & CEC Programming
We program universal remotes (Logitech Harmony, SofaBaton, and others) to control all of your devices with a single remote. We also configure HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) so your TV, soundbar, and connected devices power on and off together and respond to a single remote. Input labels are renamed on your TV (for example, changing 'HDMI 1' to 'Cable Box' and 'HDMI 2' to 'PlayStation') for quick, intuitive switching.
