Multi-Room TV Mounting in a New Middletown Home
A multi-room TV mounting project in a new Middletown, Delaware home featuring three installations, full cord concealment, and complete device setup — all in a single appointment.
New Construction in Middletown's Growth Corridor
Middletown is the fastest-growing town in Delaware, with master-planned communities expanding steadily along the Route 301 corridor between Wilmington and Dover. New homes here feature modern construction with standard drywall over wood studs, consistent framing, and open floor plans that are ideal for TV mounting. This project involved a family that had just moved into a four-bedroom home in one of Middletown's newer developments. They wanted TVs mounted in the great room, master bedroom, and finished basement — all with cord concealment and streaming device setup. The builder had included pre-wired cable outlets in each room, but no thought had been given to TV positioning or cable management for wall-mounted displays.
Three Rooms in One Visit
The great room received a 75-inch Sony on a full-motion mount anchored into two studs, positioned at 46 inches to center for optimal viewing from the sectional. In-wall cord concealment with a power bridge kit gave the wall a perfectly clean look. The master bedroom got a 55-inch LG on a tilting mount at 54 inches to center, angled slightly downward for comfortable bed viewing. The basement media area received a 65-inch TCL on a full-motion mount that could swivel to face the couch or the game table. All three locations got full in-wall cord concealment. By bundling three installations into a single visit, the homeowner saved significantly on our multi-TV pricing while getting every room done in one afternoon.
Device Setup and Configuration
Each TV needed streaming devices configured and connected to the home WiFi network. The great room setup included an Apple TV 4K and a Sonos Beam soundbar, connected and programmed to work with a single remote. The master bedroom got a Roku Ultra with the family's streaming accounts logged in. The basement was configured for gaming with an Xbox Series X and optimized picture settings for low-latency play. Our technician walked the homeowners through each system before leaving, making sure they were comfortable controlling everything.
